Brookhill is a major estate regeneration scheme in Woolwich, designed for Hyde Housing to deliver 254 high-quality new homes—49% affordable—across a mix of flats, maisonettes and houses. Carefully planned over a steeply sloping site, the layout steps with the topography to create a coherent and legible streetscape, ensuring good access, daylight, and views throughout.
The urban design approach prioritises walkability and community, anchored by a central green spine that links the site and offers shared amenity space, planting, and play. Developed in close collaboration with existing residents and the local authority, the scheme gained full planning approval and will replace 80 outdated homes with a more inclusive, sustainable neighbourhood.
